City Film Days

City Film Days is an annual film event, with each edition being dedicated to a different city. A curator from the city compiles a two-day program of short, documentary, and feature films to draw a cinematic portrait of his/her hometown, its history and architecture, its everyday life and its political and social challenges. City Film Days invite their visitors to explore the multifacedness of urban space. They aim to be both a platform for emerging film makers and an event bringing together different communities in Berlin and beyond.

The first edition of City Film Days (October 19-20, 2024) was dedicated to Prishtina and curated by Blerta Haziraj.

The second edition (September 19-21, 2025) focuses on Tbilisi and is curated by Tiku Kobiashvili.
